SPRING 2010 COACHING COURSES

GRANT FLOWER BATTING AND FIELDING MASTER CLASS : 3 HOURS

James Foster Coaching is pleased to announce that Essex and Zimbabwe International player, Grant Flower, will be running a three hour Batting and Fielding Masterclass session on the 26th March at Forest School.

Grant has recently been appointed Zimbabwe Batting Coach and has played 67 Tests and 219 One Day Internationals for Zimbabwe.

During the course Grant will teach you necessary skills when batting against spin bowling and will then finish the session by passing on his fielding knowledge that has made him Essex's 'Fielder of the Year' for the last three seasons. The modern day cricketer has to be an excellent fielder to secure their place in a team, and these drills will help all cricketers (including wicketkeepers) with their throwing, accuracy and movement close to the stumps.

Grant will be leading the course with the help of two high classes coaches. James will not be attending, as he is playing cricket for the MCC in Abu Dhabi.

VENUE : Forest School (Sports Hall), College Place, Snaresbrook, London E17 3PY
DATE AND TIME: 26 March 5pm to 8pm
COST: £50
AGE: 13 and over

RESERVATIONS:
This is a great opportunity to be coached by Grant before the season begins. There are only 16 places available so please book early to avoid disappointment.

BMI or Quetelet index, is a statistical measurement which compares a person's weight and height. Though it does not actually measure the percentage of body fat, it is a useful tool to estimate a healthy body weight based on how tall a person is. It is the most widely used diagnostic tool to identify weight problem within a population including underweight, overweight and obesity. It was invented between 1830 and 1850 by the Belgian polymath Adolphe Quetelet.

A BMI between 18.5 and 24.9 is considered normal for most adults aged between 20 and 65.
